ST LUKE'S CHURCH, LONGSIGHT

St. Luke's Church at Longsight has suffered many difficulties and limitations in recent times with problems relating to building repairs. A range of local facilities is provided by the church there, including craft and design workshops and group sessions for the local community. The church in Goostrey maintains contact and support through visits and shared services. A full Christmas Dinner for 40-50 people is provided each year, with items prepared by members of the congregation and delivered in good time by a team of drivers. In Summer, a warm welcome is given to the group from Longsight who visit us and enjoy a walk in the country, followed by tea or a barbecue.
